Our Story

Whimsical Woods was born in 2013 — back when handmade hair accessories were just a fun little passion project between me and my daughter.

I loved pairing her secondhand boutique outfits with matching bows I made myself, snapping photos, and sharing them online. Before long, other moms began asking for bows to match their little ones’ favorite pieces, and just like that, Whimsical Woods took root.

As time passed, my daughter grew up (she’s 13 now 💕), and the handmade world grew right along with her. Trends shifted, beloved children’s brands like Matilda Jane and Persnickety faded, and the market became overflowing with new makers. My little shop quietly drifted into the background — but my love for creating never left.

Today, Whimsical Woods has found new life. What began as handmade bows for one little girl has blossomed into a full boutique — a collection of carefully curated clothing, accessories, and gifts that carry the same magic and joy that started it all.
